What is the Interclub?
A friendly tournament
for members of Southside clubs - Clarkston, Giffnock, Whitecraigs, Busby,
Newlands, Weirs, Titwood, Queens Park, East Kilbride, David Lloyd Rouken Glen
and Gorbals. This year is the tournament’s
85th anniversary so it’s been going on for a while!
Who can play?
Anyone and
everyone! There are Mini, Junior, Open and Senior (045) events, singles and
doubles. Any Minis or Juniors not sure
which events to enter, ask Carol Milne and she’ll be happy to help!
Where and when is it
played?
Matches will
be shared amongst the participating clubs.
Final scheduling will depend on the number of entries for each event but
it’s expected:
· Minis - at Clarkston, Busby and Giffnock: Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 August
·
Juniors - mainly at Titwood: Friday
18 August - Sunday 20 August, & Saturday 26 August
·
Open - mainly at Whitecraigs: Monday
21 - Saturday 26 August
·
Seniors (O45) - mainly at Clarkston: Thursday
17 - Saturday 26 August
All
semi-finals and finals to be played at Whitecraigs Tennis Club on Friday 25
& Saturday 26 August respectively
Why should I enter?
It’s a great
opportunity to play against people of a similar standard from local clubs in a friendly
competition
How can I enter?

Online between 7 July - 10 August at 11 pm;

Finals Day BBQ
& Disco at Whitecraigs on Saturday 26 August from 7 pm - tickets £10
